Does anyone make a single trigger drop in ( close to drop in) for a T C Hawkin? Thanks guys.

Interesting thought, usually it's the other way around, folks want a double in the single trigger Renegade models.
The single trigger rpl for the double trigger models available are just the double plate with the rear trigger removed,, so it's just the same as using the front trigger alone.
Question;
I gather you want a single to allow more room in the trigger guard for your finger?

Seem to recall that TC offered a single trigger option for their Hawken. Don't imagine that it was a big seller, but ya might find a "new old stock" somewhere. Another option might even be as simple as exchanging one from their single trigger models - Renegade, New England, etc.

Best of luck in your search! :)

Sounds good 58 caliber if you happen to find it let me know what you want for it.

Question;
Why do you want a single trigger? What's the motivation?

He's probably like me and just prefers a single trigger....
Yes a single trigger offers more room but it is also less complicated and requires lest fumbling....For myself a single trigger just creates a smoother more natural transition from hand to rifle....

Easy to do with a little work as previously mentioned.
Not really, that's a .500 wide hole not .400.
There are some possible options.
Does his rifle have this tang bolt?(ignore the note)

Or is it just two screws?
So there's more to it, it's not impossible for it too be easy,, but we can't just say "go for it - it's easy" without having just a bit more info.
Aagin, the factory single trigger rpl for the double is just removing the rear trigger,, now that's easy. But if he's doing it to gain more room,, that fix won't do it.
Get it?

Thanks for all the info guys, I'm out of town now so can't look at the trigger now. I just like single triggers got them on all my other guns , once I get used to them seems like I can shoot better less to think about I guess.

I don't get it. Single trigger, double trigger? If you want a single trigger Hawken, and the reasoning for the single trigger isn't about more room for your trigger finger, just use the front trigger, or do like necchi says and remove the rear trigger if the sight of the rear trigger bothers you.
