Tip was a really good shot apparently..
His Frontier Shop here in Tennessee had an impressive display of trophies & awards both he and his Wife had won over the years..
I held the gun that he shot this target with a few years back….didn’t even think about getting a picture of it..
The gun had the smoothest lock on it I have ever cocked and it fired at the touch of the trigger… Forget about a slow squeeze.
He was quite the Fellow, I wish he was still around.

Don't feel bad! I couldn't do that with my best rifle off a bench rest. WTG Tip.Wow. Impressive. Couldn't have done that with my Charleville: smoothbore and no rear sight. Well done!!

If I ever shot a target like that at 50 yds or farther, I'd mount the target and hang it over my fireplace, sell all my guns and never pull a trigger again.

Better than I can do rifled, with a peep and off a bench. Truly amazing. Something to “aim” for!
