Roundball size for .69 smoothbore?

What roundball size works well for a .69 Smoothbore?
(I may patch or may not.)

I have several .69 smoothies. I use a .660 patched ball (paper cartridge) for early shots and drop in a .680 without patch as it gets a bit dirty.

Talk about efficient Recycling!

My pal buys scrap used air gun pellets from a local club to mix with lead , and lead from old lead light windows , which you probably won’t get in USA a few dig out the sand back stop and share lead between them . It’s costly Tin that makes it expensive , so recycling is good news.

Yes, I use lubed cotton ticking.
