Just got back from shooting. Tried 60 gr 3f and 1 oz of shot load, worked ok but i found mine does better with 70s of 3f and
80gr/1 1/8 oz of #5 lead shot over an over powder wad, and half a lubed cushion wad. I am also up to 132 shots on this Tom Fuller Black English flint and it is still in pretty good shape. Pretty sure i can get at least 150 shots if not more out of it. Love this Large Siler lock. Here is a pic of a new flint compared to the one with 132 shots on it.

That's awesome, I have 10 of those sitting on my desk right now. Just need a gun to use them in, that should be here Saturday. I hope anyway.

What are you getting? These are 3/4"x7/8" Tom Fuller flints. After 132 shots the used one is about a 3/4" square flint now.

Getting a Jackie Brown Early Virginia, 20Ga smooth bore. Has a 46" swamped barrel, wooden patchbox, iron trim, and Queen Anne lock. Think it's shipping tomorrow, can't wait.

I'll post some pics soon as it arrives.

The flints I have are 7/8 x 1"

This flint came out of a Jackie Brown Carolina smoothbore. I think you will really like your JB. Would like to see some pics when you get it.
