You did great with your smoothbore; nice looking gun, too! Mine's a .62 and that .600" lead ball is terminal on deer.

thanks all, I have also taken a spring turkey with this smoothie about two weeks after completing it. Being a rifle shooter (flint) at heart a smoothbore adds that additional challenge.
Britsmoothy - I did not step it off but I figure 40-50 yds (37-46 meters) ;-)
