Sold Pending Funds. For sale is a Dixie Gun Works 1858 NMA in .44 caliber. Steel frame. Looks to be a kit pistol. Marked DIXIE GUN WORKS MADE IN ITALY on the left side of the barrel. Top of the barrel is marked REMINGTON NEW MODEL ARMY .44 CALIBER. Cylinder has the Palmetto makers mark and serial number stamped on it. The frame is unfinished steel. Trigger guard is brass. Wood grips are nicely fitted and finished. Appears factory blued finish on the barrel, rammer, and cylinder which is 95% or better. Slight turn ring on part of the cylinder. Bore is nice. Looks to probably not have been shot much. The bare steel frame has some very light oxidation which will clean off easily. Cycles and locks up fine. Asking $175 shipped where legal.
