Ok....I am going to be at the Southeastern Rend the first week of April. :results: Going in on Friday and hope not to leave till the week sunday.... :shocking:if the weather holds out.
Suppose to be doing a seminar on the Indian Tipi for those who want to see some research into my new book :bull: :bull:
But will be giving it out of my tent :hmm:still cannot put up my Big lodge with the new knee. :sorry:But love my tent with the wood bed and feather mattress. At least I can get out of it in the morning. In the tipi it is still hard to get up from the ground   :what: :what:

If anyone is coming...I hope to have a small flag with the TMA logo hanging from my front tart pole. :blah:

Come by and see me anyway....would love to have some company for the week in new friends and old friends. :imo:
I do play farkle, dominoes, Mar Jhan and other dice games.

My wife asked a question, so I thought that I would pass it along. The "flyer" indicates that attendance requires period attire. Does that include us "flatlanders" that are new to this whole scene and just want to take a look around?

No, only the campers. Day visiters can ware anything they want.

The rendezvous is just below Quitman, Ga. just across the Florida line. There is a map on the web site.

Thanks for the info, Tipis! I plan on taking my 11 year old daughter to her first Rondevous. We hunt within about 30 miles from that spot, and it will be Spring Gobbler Season! :D A Rondy and blackpowder turkey huntin'...what a way to spend one's 40th birthday
