Just sharing a pic of the Spiller & Burr I picked up yesterday.

Mine has become my favorite revolver, haven't had a cap jam or sticky cylinder yet. I put a taller front sight on it though, it hit crazy high out of the box.
 
When I look at a Spiller and Burr replica, it is important to take the cylinder out and see if there is the imprint of the back of the cylinder in the brass at the rear of the cylinder opening. I really like the Spiller and Burr. Always wanted one to tinker with. Seems like most shooters like this revolver.

This one is brand new actually, the sun made it look pretty scratched up for some reason
 
I was surprised when I got mine at how small it was in comparison with, say, the 1851 Navy. I had never seen one before getting one shipped to me.
I did put a taller front sight on mine, and keep the charges to 15 grains to baby the frame.

I was definitely a little surprised by the size as well. I like it a lot though.
