i just got 32 and found a good load but with cleaning between shots.i would like to find a lube that works for at least 5 shots before i have to clean it. i have tried spit, bore butter, and a lube i found cheap in a store called safari arms lube which looks like a bees wax to me.so far i would say spit being the best but not great any suggestions?

you might give Go-Jo white hand cleaner a try for patch lube. works great for me. not too wet on the patch you don't want it dripping off just soaked good.

You might try Ballistol. I use a 50-50 mixture of Ballistol and water for a lube. Works great on my .54 GPR, not sure if it would work the same for a .32...

i know i have read here that bigger rifles shoot all day with moose snot but do the smaller calibers do the same?

what is your powder charge and what powder 3 of 2f? i find most rifles if you shoot a charge the same as the cal. [ 32 cal. 32 gr.} they will shoot clean. it is when you start dumping powder that they foul up fast.

i worked loads from 10 to 25gr all 3f.i did not want to go to much and found 25gr gives me the best groups.3shots touching at 25 yrds.

I'm told (not yet experienced cause I dont have a .32.....yet) thata wipe about every 2 or 3 is the norm. I shoot a .40 and can get 16 to 17 before I feel the need. I use straight olive oil for a lube and my loads are moderate for the given bore.

I would gander that a load of around 22 to 24 gr 3F anda moist oil lube might be worth a try!

Let us know what you find!

Another patch lube that works is dish soap and water. A friend told me about it quit a few years ago. What do you use to clean your gun? Dish soap. Think of it as cleaning your gun every time you pull the trigger. Leon

Moose snot, moose milk, or Hoppes BP solvent and patch lube might do the trick.
You could also try beeswax/olive oil mixed 40:60 or 30:70.

I use 25gr of swiss fff

With moose snot I can shoot all day.

I mix the Moose Snot pretty stiff almost like a bar of soap.

I also use a 50-50 mixture of Ballistol and water for a patch lube with a .375 overpowder wad 35gr of Goex 3f shoot all day without any loading problems--spud

I've always used beeswax/olive oil as a patch lube, and swabbed with a spit patch between shots.
I shoot a pedersoli .32. I use a .311 RB and a heavy muslin (100% cotton, but thinner than pillow ticking.) patch for shooting, and some cut up pieces of t-shirt for spit patches.
Since I'm either casually shooting at the range, or even more casually shooting squirrels, I don't see swabbing between shots as a big issue. I was told when I first started shooting the little pea shooter to expect more fouling and that was just part of shoting the little guns.
cheers,
Pat

I have been shooting .32 since '84 and get good results with bore butter on pillow ticking with .311rb. I hunt squirrels with a 30gr charge of Pyrodex P with excellent results. But as usual, it is all determined by what YOUR rifle likes. Good luck.
