Here in Eastern NC the colors tend to vary quite a bit but the the predominate is black & white with a smattering of the reds and solid blacks thrown in just to keep it interesting.

Sometimes called "tree rats" here in Okie city. Thicker than cars. Got a big pecan tree in my back yard. NEVER get any pecans!

I have the same problem with fruit trees. I let the little B@$+@&d's slide this past spring because of CABG surgery and got no peaches and maybe a peck of apples and the trees were loaded. What escapes me this season is going to fare common next spring. I am going to War!
