If its a 12ga take a dime and rest it on the muzzle end of the barrel, if the the dime will not enter the barrel it is full choke. Do the left barrel first if this is the case the barrels are left side full choke,right side modified choke. BE CAREFUL WITH THE RIGHT SIDE AS THE DIME WILL ENTER THE BORE. This is the way I was taught with modern double barrel shot guns. R.C.
