Are there any of the stock makers that will allow you to send them your wood for a stock in the event you would like a precarve stock from your own wood?

Jim Chambers will subtract $80 from the price of a kit if you send the wood to them.

Well, heck of a deal. That is what I am needing to know. Pecatonica makes Tracks stocks dont they? Who makes Stiths stocks?

From Pecatonica Rivers Site;
"I have a blank. Can you carve a stock from it?
We can carve a stock from your blank as long as the pattern will fit onto the blank. The cost is $55 for a fullstock and $50 for a halfstock."

Sure appreciate that, I knew I had seen it somewhere and couldnt find it again. I'm planning another Hawken, but want to make it from my own wood.
