I consider the CO2 Discharger I bought about the best buy I have made. Dixie and others have them. Geo. T.
 
noticed no one even mentioned using a grease gun . had a ball stuck one time about the same went to the auto parts store got a grease fitting screwed it into the flash hole and pumped the ball out with grease. little messy to clean up, but very effective. did not take that long either. this is the method used for adjusting the track on dulldozers.

You did'nt read all the posts, using grease was mentioned by Billnpatti.
 
I put the post in the "Flintlock Rifles" because the rifle is a "Flintlock". Being new to Flintlocks I called the "flash hole insert" a nipple, my mistake, sorry for the confusion.
