You are claiming that you can fire 50 rounds sized .001 below your bore diameter without cleaning the bore one time?
Yes

I proved it with the Scout project as well. I've run a "Zouave" over 60 shots straight without cleaning, wiping or any other attention to the bore with no loss of accuracy or having to pound a bullet down. The key is to balance the lube with the powder charge and type of powder and it works just as Cpt Minie designed.

I changed how I wipe in between shots. I started out wiping down the barrel with a damp cotton patch using either T/C #13 or Birchwood muzzle cleaner. The problem I ran into was that if the patch was a little to damp, I think it would leave a little moisture in the bottom of the barrel or into the flash channel ( I shoot percussion rifles). So now I load, shoot my shot, load for the next shot and now wipe down the barrel. Haven’t had any issues since.

I wipe between every shot when shooting at the range. A little nuanced comment by a popular youtuber helped me while shooting and cleaning my caplock. He advocates "leaving the expended percussion cap on the nipple until after loading." The pressures created by running several patches down a fouled barrel can force small particles to be vented into an open fire channel.
