This thread has made me order some to plant in my garden. I love the taste of them, baked or boiled. Will can what the family doesn't like. They do make great pies and pastry's when you do not know what they are.

Where did you order them?
Clarks feed and grain a blue seed feed dealer local NH distributors of farm stuff.
I used to buy a few fresh in the store and plant in my garden when I had one, white potatoes the same. peas for pea soup and most beans the same way.

I like the deep orange ones. Around here, most folks grow the yellow ones. Some raise the ones with the red skins. When I lived in Virginia, a few folks raised white sweet potatoes.

I got a sweet tater soaking in a red solo cup trying to make some slips......It's got about 10 sprouts on it..... :grin:
