I don’t. That’s why I’m asking about it. I was told by the seller it is a T/C. But I thought it should be marked such. He wants $350 for it. I’m just trying to find out any info or ideas concerning it. And was wondering if all T/Cs were marked as such. Thanks for replying.

Welcome to the forum from North Carolina.

Difficult to give advice with no markings, no serial number and no pictures. Your link appears to possible be to a private conversation (aka PM) that only you and those included in the conversation would be able to see.

Ok. Thanks. Let me send some pic. I’m new to this forum stuff and probably posted it wrong. I’m not sure what make only going by the sellers info. I would think if it was a T/C it would be marked as such. I’ve looked all over barrel for any markings. None.

Looks like an older TC based on the style of the ****. Identifying markings would be on the barrel flats near the breech, or as @sussexmuzllodr pointed out, the markings may here been removed by a previous owner. The bore condition would really determine the value in my opinion. Do you have access to the gun?

The lock, patch box and trigger guard all appear to be T/C. The rear sight is not T/C. It is possible that the barrel is a replacement that is not serialized. Remove the barrel and see if there are any markings on the bottom flat.

Yes I have the gun with me. Took those pics this morning. I’ll check under the barrel for any markings and post shortly. Thanks for your help.

I have a rifle with a T/C percussion lock, T/C triggers, T/C trigger guard and a Sharon barrel. Of course mine doesn't really look like a T/C for a variety of reasons, but barrel exchanges do happen.

Ok I pull the barrel. It looks like it is stamped “GLTZ” and under that for sure it says “BEAVERTOWN, PA .45 1/38”
17732” Here is pic taken through magnifying glass.

The lock, stock and furniture are all correct to T/C. The barrel would be clearly marked with the maker's name, model and other black powder warnings. Thus, the barrel could be a replacement or someone removed all markings that were stamped into the barrel.

Ok found the markings under the barrel. It says: “GETZ. BEAVERTOWN, PA”
#: “17732”

Ok, I verified it says 1/38”. The picture is not very clear I can see it looks like almost like 1/60”.

Just curious, because I have no idea and never owned one before. Is the MZ worth $350?
