82gr ffg is roughly 3 drams, and I shot that and considerably more in my NE 12 bore, but always equal volumes of powder and shot. They are relatively light, and definitely handy!

Recently picked this one up at auction, and on its way to me.
I’m familiar with muzzle loaded shotguns and looking forward to a single barrel Fowler.
I have little knowledge about T/C Arms, fill me in on the pro’s and con’s of this gun?

Try upping your charge some where in the 70- 90 grain 2F range.

Upped the charge to 80grn 2f/equal #4 shot, patterns much better at 40 yards.
