I just received a Pecatonica renegade stock and while I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet I'll venture some observations.
Firstly, they only inlet for the double set triggers so if yours is a single trigger it will be a bit trickier. You could order it without trigger and trigger guard inlet and work it out.
The trigger and trigger guard on mine are a perfect fit.
The lock doesn't "drop in" but it is going to take very very little fitting. So far it looks like the lock will need tiny amounts of wood removed around the perimeter.
The tang and barrel do drop in but may need a bit of fiddling to achieve perfect alignment and fit.
The barrel key channel will need to be drilled and opened.
The lock bolt hole needs to be drilled.
The Renegade butt plate will be an easy fit. Installing a curved butt plate will be a little more complicated.
So, I'm reluctant to advise either "do it" or "don't" sinc i know nothing about your skills, experience or tools.
I do highly recommend Pecatonica's product. It was much better than I expected.
I've built seven rifle kits and ill say that this will be an easier project than a GPR kit.
I'll do a couple pictures for you later or tomorrow morning.
