I own several t/c caps and one 58 flint, my question is did the white mountian carbine ever come in flint?

The White Mountain Carbine was introduced as a new model (caplock only) in the 1989 catalog. The following year (catalog #17, 1990) showed a flintlock version, right hand only.

The T/C WMC in caplock is very common,I've been looking for a flintlock version for a couple of months now with no luck, they must be super scarce, i can't even find a picture of a white mountain carbine flinter

T/C Pennsylvania Hunter barrels will also fit the White Mountain Carbine stock. I have both guns and the barrels are interchangeable. You may have better luck looking for a PA Hunter. T/C offered it in a flintlock carbine version with 21 inch barrel. The PA Hunters used a roundball twist (1:66). White Mountain Carbines used a fast twist, some were 1:20 and later 1:38 Both models use a 15/16" to round barrel in .50 caliber.

Bob
