I am the newest recruit for my club's black powder shooters that meet the last Sunday of the month for a low key competition. I am getting a new .50 target rifle with Creedmore sights to replace the Remington 700 .54 I have been shooting. I feel like the guy at the chicken fight with a duck! Everyone has been nice and helpful so I keep turning up like a bad penny. This is new to me although I have shot smallbore and shotgun competitively before. I like the laid back group, but I am trying to catch up with some folks that know a lot more than I do. Any suggestions? We shoot 25, 50 and 100 yards, offhand.
