.310 ball +25gr FFFg+ 0.010" cut-at-muzzle Schoultz-method 1:7 dried ballistol patching gave good results for my Miroku/DGW flintlock TM

When you use dry patches you must wipe the bore between shots with a damp patch to control the fouling in the bore. If you try to reload with out wiping, expect to get a ball and patch stuck in the bore after about the second or third shot. I damp wipe between shots and use a damp patch with 1 part water soluble oil (Ballistol) and 4 to 7 parts water.

You can get as technical as you dare.
I know off a group of gentlemen that shoot daily and before Civic traveled to all the shoots nationwide including Friendship In.
They usually win, to join their daily shoot you must cut a playing card at 20 paces. They all use spit patches, they're constantly chewing on patches during the shoot.

I had 2 - 32 caliber Cherokee's. 1with double triggers 1 with single trigger. I sold the single trigger.
