How about some feedback on the TC Firestorm? Any comments as to how it stacks up to offerings by Lyman or Traditions?

I just bought one this week. Last one in the store and the price was almost as low as the Traditions. I was going to buy the PA pellet but stepped up and went with the Firestorm. It shoots great PRB's with 90 FF. Very good looking weapon and the sights are terrific. With the .50 caliber the .10 patches loaded easily. Lots of bucks left here in Ligonier, PA!!

I've had one for about 4 yrs now. Great shooter! Only thing that I've done to mine was to have the trigger lightened slightly and replaced the frizzon when I wore the orig out from shooting er a bunch. I love shooting the flinters, and I traded the old Renegade off for the Firestorm just to get the removeable breech plug for ease of cleaning. I really like the rifle and haven regretted the trade. Mine likes about 75-80 grs of powder and the PRBs or 295 CVA PBs. Either one! Deadly on deer and even with the patched round balls I have had complete pass thru's. Mega blood trail for a short distance of 100 yds or less. Good luck with yours.
