Without any work? You will have to use a screwdriver and possibly some kind of tool to get the barrel wedge out. Don’t know if you consider that ‘work’. I have also heard some say that a small sliver of wood needs to be removed for a percussion lock to fit a stock originally made for a flintlock, though I have never found it necessary.

It should drop right in. I once went from a percussion to a flintlock, that needed some wood removed.
SDSmlf, you forgot to mention one more chore, remove the ram rod.

I haven't had that problem yet luckily but I did have to auger out some wood when I put my deerslayer trigger in
