Tc renegade stock on a traditions deer hunter?

So I was wondering if anyone knows if a tc renegade stock would fit a traditions deer hunter.

The barrel lug probably won't line up not to mention the barrel tang.
You might be able to make it work but would be easier to find Traditions or possibly a CVA stock.

Check Ebay. There's a black synthetic stock for a Traditions Panther. I'm almost certain your Deerhunter barrel, lock and tang will drop right in.

The T/C Renegade stock is sized for a 1” across the flats barrel. I suspect the Traditions Deer Hunter has a 15/16” barrel (I could be wrong) and would require some backfilling to fill the windage if put in a Renegade stock.

No, the geometry and component use is all wrong. They're too far apart to make the effort worthwhile.

That's what I have now is the black stock. These are awesome little rifles it's just a shame there's no wooden stock options.

Keep checking ebay. They show up from time to time.
I just recently sold a Deerhunter rifle.
I've got one now in a rare 45 caliber that I may consider selling.

The Deer Hunter was available with a wooden stock and there's probably 1/2 dozen CVA models whose stocks will fit with little or no effort.

Good point. Plus using a Renegade stock would provide plenty of unnecessary challenges.
