Just recently bought a renegade off Gunbroker mainly as a parts gun. The trigger on this gun will only function if you set the set trigger. All other TC double set triggers I own will function just using the front trigger once hammered back. Cant even let the hammer down on the thing without setting it. Wondering if there is something wrong with the triggers or if this is something that TC did for a period of time? Any advice? Thanks, Dan Baker

Both front and rear triggers normally can reach the sear arm. Likely someone removed material from the top of the front trigger and it no longer makes contact with the sear arm. Post a photograph of the trigger assembly and someone will confirm if this is the issue.

Thanks guys, tore things back down, compared trigger set to others I own but could find no signs of modification, ran set screw full length of travel and set to just contact front trigger, partially reassembled and found a slight interference with front trigger travel and stock material, problem solved! Got me looking, thanks again.
