Two or three years ago I attended the Trade Fair at Ft.Frederick, MD and met up with a suttler who cast a grenade mortar barrel which he offered 3 ways, as cast, bored, and bored and polished. They were sized to take a tennis ball and if I remember correctly he was from Southwest VA. I had intended to order one later that Summer but lost his card, is there anyone out there who can help me get in touch with him? Thanks

Hawkeye,

I think I have one of the ones you are talking about. I bought it a the Camden Rev War event a couple of years ago. It is actually bore size 2.25, so takes a raquet ball. Hate to say it, :( but I've misplaced the makers name. If I find his card again I will post the contact info here.

Hi,
Brad Spear at Fort King George in Darian Ga. sells them on the side. I don't have his personel email but you may be able to reach him by going to Georgia Parks and emailing the FKG sight.
