Well, after receiving my combo gun I rigged up a remote firing device out of boxes and sleeping bags and double charges the .33 cal rifle barrel and did about 40% overcharge using 3f in the shotgun barrel. and fired a couple of these loads out of it and all is well. this gun is definetly all original and the rifle barrel is laminated steel, the twist on the barrels and even the rib is just spetacular with over 90% of the finish remaining, it also has the most case colors I've ever seen on a percussion double, but it is covered in dried oil. The bores are both pristine, the breaches have 90%+ case colors I'm just amazed. The shotgun barrel is not choked as the seller thought, it is coned at the end for easier loading. The locks are smoother and crisper than any other locks I've tried english belgian new or old. This gun even has some of the fire blue left on the buttplate, that never survives. The sights are wonderfully made with a perfect fit, the front sight is a very unique brass bead on a post and works great. In short I'm a pretty happy camper. Now I'm out the door to try a group with the rifle barrel.

You bes' get back in here right now and post your friends here some PICTURES!

I'll try to get some out tommorrow, the shotgun barrel patterns really well, certainly well enough for grouse hunting. The rifle barrel shoots about 6" high at 25 yards, but seems to group well. Alot more experimenting is needed.
