TEXAS LICENSE SCAM - Beware

I received an email today stating that my fishing license had expired.
Texas will issue a fishing only license, but most here buy combo packages.
A phone call to TPWD has confirmed that THIS IS A SCAM.
DO NOT follow any links in this email if you receive it.
TPWD does NOT issue license expiration warnings.
Like all suspect emails, treat this with great care and DO NOT click on ANY link in the email.

Thanks for the tip. Most folks ( but sadly not all) would know licenses don't expire in October. Or have they changed things again?
