Well, here comes OP: If you are that sensitive, maybe you should re-look how you feel to those that "have" the Covid. On line Scammers really tend to lean and abuse those feelings, and frankly, even when dealing those with Covid, I cant change the way I do biz or live my lif, especially when those with all the jabs still get it.

If I sell something, it gets boxed for shipment immediately. Including the shipping address and name of recipient. That way, if I die from a heart attack tonight, my wife simply has to wait for the money order to arrive, and take the package to UPS.

It probly boils down to the differences between people. Maybe just not a priority to the seller. And some people get nasty when you call them out on that stuff.

I'm sure, somewhere out there, is a seller, who lives alone, and is 20 miles from the nearest shipper, so that would complicate things. It most people have friends who can assist.

The "covid" excuse has been used to death to get out of transactions by those either have no scruples or have "buyers remorse". It also has resulted in excuses not to pay rent, work or charge crazy prices. If it comes up in any transaction its time to bail.

I personally wouldn't worry much about Covid being a legitimate excuse to not ship something. Covid for most people now is a pretty mild affair. At most it would require a 5-day quarantine. Now of course if you get seriously ill from it then you could have a problem, but you could get hit by a bus tomorrow also.

What he said. I box straight away and put a sticky note saying how to send and how much insurance to add. If my grieving widow isn't up to shipping, we have friends who are.

Another bingo. The ones with the jabs are the spreaders and repeat contractors.

Let it go dude, already too much time wasted on this thread. Your money, your family, your decisions, rock on and I hope everything works out.

This post had nothing to do with my financial situation. People who run on tight budgets are still privy to the discipline and right to save money a little at a time. That’s why in my text message I stated “replacing these funds would put a huge financial burden on my family” never said “spending these funds will put a huge financial burden on my family.”

The point of the thread is to highlight we as sellers and buyers still have obligation to the sell even through COVID.

It already has. It isn’t costing you anything to have this post here. If you’ve wasted your time, move on..

I apologize as well. My panties were definitely in a bunch. I ignored the financial advisor posts as long as I could. I work hard to save play/gun money that is totally separate from any family funds. Using family funds to replace a rifle I don’t really need is not possible and donating my time enough to re-save the cost of another rifle is not something that happens fast. How “replacing funds” translates into “making my kids go hungry to buy a gun” is beyond me.

This is an example of why only postings, questions and offers should be allowed here. As far as i know this is the only "trader" that still allows stuff like this.
