Cap jamming is a problem with this design. There is very little room between the recoil shield and the back of the cylinder. That might seem like a good thing in that spent caps can't get between the cylinder and the recoil shield, but what it really means is that if and when any cap or cap fragments, or even just the edge of a split cap, manages to get in there it can jam things up hard and quick. Spent caps are not as easy to clear out when the fired chamber gets to the side, and they often ride all the way around until all chambers have been fired. This increases the opportunity for a piece to get into the crevice.
