Doesn't Dixons have a muzzleloader Fair as well?If there is anyone who has been to both, how do the compare with Dixons in Kempton, PA?
good luck with that oneThat's another place I need to visit though my only mail-order experience with them was marginal
I live in England, but always try to get to the shop, when I’m in the USA. That probably tells you, how good I think it is!As luck would have it, I'll be up in the Cleveland area soon.
Is it worth the (seemingly short) drive to visit the Log Cabin Gun Shop?
It seems like its THEE place to go spend a little money
Had a table at the Trade Fair this year .A little smaller with the ccp virus. Still a very nice outing.Hats off to Lisa for putting it all together. Lucky me just live a few miles away. Miss their first of the month novelty shoots. Maybe next year.Cant say anything about the Log Cabin shop but looking over their web page they do look interesting. BUT have visited Dixie Gun works , first 1965 with my Dad. We drove from St Louis down to the boot heal of Missouri, crossed the Mississippi on the Ferry to Union City Tenn. Walking into that place was very exciting ! I believe we even got to meet Mr Turner Kirkland ! the 2nd visit was later in early 70s when again I traveled with my new Wife from Columbia Mo. to the newer DGW. great memories !
Think the feds say otherwise! You can’t possibly have too much black powder stuff....
hope yiu brought jour check book and parted with some SCHECKLES?I agree with the consensus. I love that place. I went back this previous weekend for the Trades Fair and could easily have a spent another whole day in the shop. Aside from the muzzleloader supplies, they have an excellent selection of books.
How could I not? That place is filled with things that I didn’t even know I needed until I saw it!hope yiu brought jour check book and parted with some SCHECKLES?
Lol @ feds. I could blow up half the county. But , i preffer making smoke at range, woods. I use a lot of powder, prolly lb a week or two. Range 1 mile away... so i buy in bulk, as much bulk as they got...Think the feds say otherwise!
