However, you can buy quite a bit of GOOD single malt scotch for 200 bucks. but I like the spa idea too, a whole weekend. lonesomebob

Ask his buddies what he wants (not what he needs). Or get him a wool greatcoat for when it actually gets cold in NY.
My wife's name is Jenifer and she got me a capote on advice from friends. Never would have bought it on my own.
Snag this guy. Sounds like he's worth it.

Hold on a sec while i try to stop laughing :rotf:

For all i know he could already be a member. But he's never mentioned this website, i found it by accident. hahahaha

Empress, if you really wanna impress him, why not get him an authentic one from the period he likes most? Take a look over on Ebay in the black powder section. There's always dozens of antiques there and most of them go for really good prices. If you're not in a huge hurry, I'm sure the perfect horn will show up soon. I'm forever seeing the "perfect" horn. I finally had to stop looking! :)

He's figured it out.... well sort of. I asked him an Ebay question. And knowing i've never had an ebay account he asked what are you buying. I answered with a straight face, nothing. 30 seconds later i had the goofiest look of guilt on my face. So i said it's a surprise. He smiled, said okay and answered my question. :) Then made a remark, "Well it better be from american side rev war period." I almost fainted. How did he know?
so i giggled and said "don't worry about it" i had to leave the room i didn't want him reading my face. OMG pheuw..... still have highest bid. i'll know by 5pm est monday if i won the bid!! I'll let you all know :surrender:

I won the bid!!!!! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

I can't thank you all enough fo rthe help you've given me and the history lessons. I'm thrilled to be apart of freddy's world and i'm so happy to have met all of you!! Thank you again

Hugs
Jennifer
