Is this 3F powder? My plan is to only load 1 oz of #7 shot. 75% of my shooting will be 20 yards and under.Just keep the powder to 70gr max and shot load 1 1/8 - 1 1/4oz.
Try VTI. I got a set of Pedersoli bridles from them when the pot metal ones on a Pietta I have broke. They fit right in. You won't go wrong with a Pedersoli shotgun. I own a 10 and a 12 gauge. They are built tough. I got a mould from them from Italy to fit my Gibbs. Service was first rate and fast turnaround--even during this pandemic. Not trying to start a flame, just speaking the truth from first hand experience.I dont know about their shotguns, but their rifles suck buttermilk.
It takes a lot for me to hate something, this brand I hate.
Two years of problems, and no replacement parts. We had to make parts for a rifle we fired 8 times.
My old Pedersoli circa 1972 has browned barrels and also weighs just shy of 6lbs. Choked IC/IM. The IM barrel is devastating on paper at 25yds, easily good to 40yds with 70gr FF, a single 1/4” felt lubed in olive oil and beeswax, 1 1/8oz shot, and OS card. The IC is just OK at 25yds and might make a better skychief option. Need to test that out. Fiber wads are not an option with the chokes. A doubled felt will have to do as OS.Older model, looks like it was a closet queen. Few spots of rust on the barrels that I took care of.
