Hi everyone. I'm from northern Alberta and I've been interested in muzzle loading for a couple of years but I've never had the oppotunity to shoot one. This christmas my lovely wife put a flintlock under the tree for me, one of the best presents ever. I'm like a little kid, I can't wait to open it and shoot it. Anyway this is a great site and I'm sure that I'll have a bunch of questions for all you guys and gals. Take care and Merry Christmas.

Thanks Griz. I don't think it will be long before I'm hooked. I will be sure to post some pictures after I rip the paper off of it.

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome. This site seems to have some great folks involved in it . Well I guess I've gotta find some powder and all the other fixins for my new hobby/lifestyle and get busy making some smoke.
