Swedish/Scandinavian guns tend to follow one of two patterns. One, I'll call it the "French type" as shown here, and the other is a "German type". Similar to stepped wrist north German rifles.

I posted a link here not too long ago of an absolutely FANTASTIC Swedish gun (one of the most beautiful I have ever seen) that is in the NRA collection. I'll see if I can find it...

That's one slick fusil :) Thanks Stophel. I love Swedish guns too. Interesting this one is connected in a way to Husqvarna.

Unfortunately my goatee has turned grey and I spend alot of time in my armchair now too.
