It sure enough is, and that s true enough! You know it is! For me, there is nothing else. I ve been, a h e m , having a blast since the 80s. Am I still having fun? Oh!, you know I am! Why would I quit? I m sure I don t know.

Mainly I have, at least several examples each of all the Colt s Patent repeating pistols (The Authentic Blackpowder Series from the 70s and 80s). My recent aquisitions are a Pedersoli Cub .32 and a Pedersoli Sharps 1859 Carbine.
All my appendages/accoutrements are period. You know, vintage. when I get all geared up, I look like I just fell out of the 1850s.

Absolutely love n it!!!

The Ring Tail bullet mold can be ordered from Moose Molds. Also Eras Gone also make a "period correct" bullet mold which follows the design of the original Civil War bullet with a long heel for paper cartridges..
My 1859 carbine has the Hahn Machine Works modification and used Hahn paper tubes and the Moose ring tail bullet.
Right now i am making tubes that will allow shooting a round ball for short (50 Yard) range practice with a light charge of about 30 grains FFFg Gunpowder. Those ring tail bulles go about 12 to the pound as i remember.
Good luck
Bunk.

Well, in that case, I guess I'll never truly be one of you.

I, personally, see little value in inoperative things hung on a wall.
They gotta go somewhere when not being shot........

Here's my current rack with my new, used, just arrived today Brown Bess.

This is since August and that's not including the three that I've been working on, one waiting to be built, the 12 gauge percussion double (bought years ago) and my unmentionable Sharps Carbine.
