That's a very interesting rifle. Its simplicity makes it even more interesting.

Wish some replica company was making guns like that right now, in smaller bore diameters. IF whichever Italian company that would make it could resist making “stylistic” changes in the production model like changing the butt stock profile to a droopy one with about 4” of drop, then adding a deep crescent butt plate.
The Italians do some things very well; others they are totally clueless about.
Those kind of things and more used to drive the German army (who they sere allied with in WWII ) nuts.
