I’d love to find one like that to put a green mountain 62 smoothbore barrel on, I have a 54 cal kit rife I bought at a pawnshop for 150 like 20 years ago for a green mountain barrel in 32 cal

That's a poorly done Thompson Center Hawken kit gun. Cosmetically, everything looks fixable with a little time, knowledge & elbow grease. From the looks of the outside of that barrel, I have my doubts about what that bore is gonna look like.

But well worth 50 bucks for parts if nothing else.

why do people insist on sanding the edges of the panels this way? One of my pet peeves… and yet… you have got a smokin deal!

Great find, I would guarantee the age would be between 1980 and 1985
1980 was the first yr of the 54 hawken percussion, and in 1981 the flintlock version was released. 1985 they started adding the names like hawken or renegade to them
