Up here in Canada if you can find them CCI #11" are $20.00 Canadian per tin of 100. That is $15.20 USD, Black Powder (Real BP, Not the substitute) is $50.00 to $60.00 Can a pound, that is $38.00 to $46.00 USD, and 0.375 lead balls are $16.00 Canadian which translates to $12.15 USD.

Stuff is a little pricey up here.

Most Kentucky Walmarts in rural areas had lots of #11 caps for $5.62 as I traveled around this week. I stocked up there because every other gun store ranged from $10.99 to $12.95 where I saw them in stock. I hope the Walmart price will force the others to stop the price gouging that has been going on in most places. I'm sure Walmart is still making money on them at that price.

The Academy near me has caps for $9.99 per 100. However, all the Walmarts in my area currently have CCI #11's for $5.62 a tin. I picked up quite a few at that price, but was not that guy who took all of them to sell at the gun show or online for $30-$40 a pop.

I made it to maulmart to see the cap stock. I was in there a few days back n they had 20 packs to a peg n 2 pegs. Well they had 12 tins left so i got 4 of them. I would feel like a low down heel if i had gotten the dz. I will ck. several maulmarts in Mo. on Monday.

I have been stocking up on them for 30 years buying a thousand every time I came across them. I bought in quantities because I live in the middle of nowhere 150 miles from a big town. Haven’t seen any in the nearest town’s store in three years. I will be good for many years. Probably have 7-9 thousand. I haven’t bought in a few years but see them online. I will buy more when I see them a couple hundred at a time as I will definitely use them. I am 47 snd my girlfriend shoots too so that’s most certainly not a lifetime supply for us.

called walmart because they won't show them online they said they had them in inventory drove there straight away nope just 2 empty pegs maybe ill find saps someday can manage with small primers and 22lr cases but its a pain have a few caps to hunt with if i need would like to do some pistol shooting

I was in LaGrange Kentucky Walmart Thursday and the two pegs for caps at $5.62 had only a few on them. I looked up above the pegboard and on the top high shelf was a whole open shipping carton full of caps that had not been stocked. I pulled it down and bought 6 tins then filled the pegs myself. Since they have no limit people clean out the two pegs pretty quick and they don't get refilled for a while. Kentucky Gun Company in Louisville has hundreds of CCI reg #11s and #11 Magnums out in a large display but were $10.99 ea. so I passed on those.

I checked the wal-mart in Lewiston, ID (Home of CCI) last week and the sales person told me they haven't had caps for about the last three years, nor was there any expected in the incoming shipments. How do you suppose they are available in KY, which is a far piece from Lewiston, and they are not available in the town where they are manufactured?

I bet a dollar to a dime the Sporting goods Manager is not ordering them. They are available to every maulmart store since June.

It is probably a store-by-store decision by the home office if sales would warrant carrying the black powder section or if they have the space available. At least that was the way it was when I used to manage a big box store. I had hunting guns, ammo, camouflage stuff and black powder guns and the stores in more urban settings did not or had a very small selection. They could not even order it if it was not on their plan.
