Reble, that's outstanding...congratulations!

(PS: remember, don't forget what's behind your target and hit the barn on that turkey farm...he may not mind you shooting them in the pen, but lord don't hit the barn!)

That is real good advice, i will have to rememberthat barn next time. Don't want the turkey rancher upset at me.

I will take my fowler out for turkeys for the first time next spring..We can't hunt for Thanksgiving here in GA. Sure hope it is as easy as you make it sound :rotf:
Way to go

Nice bird! For some reason, I only hunt upland birds. That's just the way it's always been (creature of habit, I guess). But there are so many wild turkeys these days in western Mass I might just have to start sitting my arse against a tree and calling one in. Then I shoot it, right?

I think that's the hard way...you need to do it "The Rebel Way"...just find a place to park and be careful opening the car door so you doesn't hit one in the head, etc...

Reb, wasn't your first one just about like that...drove in somewhere to park and they were in sight...snuck around the car and shot one or something?

Yea, sumthin' like that. I can't help it if they are thick around here. Heck we saw 3 toms walking across the main street here in town on Thanksgiving day last year. The stupid birds are everywhere.

Why do I see Rebel chasing them round town with a butterfly net!!???? Tie the net to the end of your fowler and..... :rotf:
