TN opener

Anybody else hunting the opener in TN this weekend? Weather is looking nice - cold and clear. Heading down to the family farm on the Plateau and hoping for a few opportunities for shots with the Renegade. Have not had any luck with the longbow the year thus far and running low on last year's venison.

Best of luck David. I will be hunting 2 leggeds instead of 4 leggeds. I miss my opening weekends but I will hunt the rest of the week to make up for it! Looks like great weather and the cool temps should spark interest.

If it's a windy Saturday as it was today here in the South Cherokee WMA I might have a chance to put the sneak on one. :winking:

Going to give it a try down here in Texas this weekend.

Bow season for me wasn't very productive. Too hot, and not a lot of deer moving.

The weather has been great all week, and it's calling for some light rain and cool temperatures, so it's looking good for our opener.

Thanks for the thoughts fellows. Should tell y'all that Saturday morning I was able to convince an agreeable 8 pointer to sojourn a while in the family freezer. I even received several nice remarks about the "old timey" TC Renegade that I hunt with. :thumbsup:
