If you call TOTW and ask them to ship it USPS flat rate box they will probably do that and then add it to their repertoire. I have educated a lot of suppliers about the cheapest ways to ship things and they are almost always very thankful and willing to use the cheaper method. Most don't make any markup on the shipping so anything they can do to reduce shipping costs and make their product more competitive is good for their business.

I always check with Muzzleloader Builder Supply also and compare prices, if I'm going to make a blackpowder supply order I'll go with the cheapest company, sometimes it's one, sometimes its the other.
I find that exceedingly odd. I have TOTW mail all my stuff USPS because UPS and Fedex rip off Canadian customers for outrageous "Brokerage and Border Handling Fees" that are completely bogus. USPS charges none of that.
I won't buy from any where that won't ship USPS and I buy a lot of stuff from TOTW. Maybe they make an exception for out of country shipments.

The only time I received any lead shipped at a reasonable rate to my house happened a number of years ago.
I saw an ad for pure lead offered by a company in Southern Arizona so I ordered 15 pounds.
I had to call the place to make the order and when I told the man where I lived he said,
"Hell! I'm coming up there in a couple of weeks. I'll just bring your order along and you can pay me when I get there."
True to his word a man who looked as old as Methuselah showed up at the agreed time with my 15 pounds of lead delivered to my door for nothing.
Now, that's a reasonable rate if I ever heard of one. :grin:
