Touch hole liner

Bought a .52 caliber flintlock pistol with a 5" barrel. Touch hole is low and a little over size. I want to shoot 4f in this short barreled pistol, right now 4f trickles right out of the touch hole. Looking for recommendations for a touch hole liner, doubt if I can get the breech plug out, and it is flush with the touch hole.

I always use RMC Allen wrench liners. They are pre-drilled with a 1/16th hole. Using 4f is fine as your primary charge and pan primer but 4f will still leak out of a 1/16 hole.

Generally 4F is not recommended for the main charge. Likely any touch hole small enough to keep 4F in the barrel would be too small for a pan charge to ignite.

Welp this is going to start the 4f debate as a main charge again. Yes it’s fine to use but I wouldn’t if I had different size powder. Preferably 3F but 2F would work also. I use 4f all the time in BP revolvers.
