Hey Sebago, I did have one when I was 5 except mine didn't have the orange tip to keep quick, trigger happy police from shootin' me.
The whole orange nosecap idea is a joke! If you pull ANY gun on a cop, he/she's probably not gonna stop and see if it has an orange muzzle! What's to keep a criminal from spray painting the muzzle of his weapon blaze orange!
What about low light conditions, where all the cop sees is the shape of a gun? It's another cop out (no pun intended) by liberals. Instead of trusting/encouraging parents to teach their kids about safe/legal gun handling and consequences (like the NRA does), they figure putting an orange muzzle on a toy gun will keep a stupid person (kid OR adult) from getting shot! :shocking: Go figure!

P.S. The toy gun makers obviously do this for liability purposes. Remember the good old days when the neighbor kid shot out your front window with his BB gun, and you went over and told the kid's parents and they whipped his arse and made him mow lawns for 6 months to pay for it? Those days are GONE! Now, the parents tell you to F*** yourself, and then they sue YOU for harrassing their rotten kid!
Remember when we were a society of people grown up enough to handle our OWN problems and take responsibility for our OWN actions, instead of making sleazebag lawyers rich?
Sorry I got off topic. I'll climb off my soapbox now.

Here Here, Musketeer!!! (oops, that rhymed!! :haha:
People today are so 'ME, ME, ME!!!! it reminds me of that Eagles song 'Get Over It'.

I had BB guns and pellet guns when I was 10, shooting tree rats with my Dad is one of my most fondest memories.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys! Man, I think it was the pressure of yesterday's election that got me so riled up :shocking:!!! Alas! A new day has dawned, and all is right with the world! We are once again under the leadership of the coolest cowboy north, south, east, or west of the Pecos!

Oh yeah, Musketman, you need to get Musketman Jr. the pistol too, so he has a backup in case he needs to finish off one of his sister's teddy bears!
