Working on my T.O.W. northwest trade gun. I ran a screw from the sideplate and tapped it into the lock. My question is, do I need 2 screws to the hold the lock in place or will one do? I have seen information that says one will be sufficient. What do you guys think? It looks like it will be difficult to run another one.

2 are nearly always found on originals. You can fake it if you want by using a woodscrew in the sideplate at the front instead of a lock bolt that goes all the way through and is threaded into the lock.
