I took this doe with a .62 cal smooth bore Trade gun at 45 yards yesterday morning. I thought that I had missed her as I found no blood. I went and got Max, my tracking dog and he found her piled up at 75 yards.
I built this gun two years ago and have taken many squirrels and rabbits and a few doves with her. These smoothbores are truly an all around hunting weapon and if I could own just one muzzleloader it would be my Trade gun.

Well dangle my doodoo's on a hot spit. That's just fantastic.
Well done Max too.
A fair distance too!
Scratch one up for the smoothbore.

Here in Britain the experts say 8t can't be done
Thanks for proving them wrong.

Great job. I too love Max's pose. Dogs really are man's best friend.

Excellent! Plus you obviously know how to shoot it, too. I like my .62 smoothbore for deer as well.
