It's a TINO. Traditional in name only..
So is mine, with older style iron sights. I added a barrel rib and two thimbles to give it a more traditional look. That rifle will balance on two fingers right under the stock wedge. Very handy in the woods. The name Deerhunter suits it well, as that's what it does best.My DeerHunter .50 had a "hardwood" stock and wood rod. It was also a percussion rather than a flintlock. BUT, it was very inexpensive, light & handy, plenty accurate and killed whitetails for many years.
