First off, I'm not sure where to post this, so hopefully this is ok.
I have one of the above mentioned rifles. It has double triggers. I got this from an estate sale. I know the guns history and I am the first one to have fired it. It shoots beautifully. It is in very good to excellent condition. I don't presently have pics of it but can get some on here if necessary. As much as it makes my heart heavy, I am thinking of "liquidating" as I need the money. What do these typically sell for and how desirable are they to the BP community?

They sell for around $500 or a little more new. The last gun I bought cost around $50 to have shipped and insured.
If I were a buyer for your gun, I wouldn't want to pay more than $400 + shipping tops. If I was selling I would probably ask $350.-$375.+ shipping. I would price it that way so it would more.

If I were trying to sell it I would go ahead and post some pics of it. You just might get some offers without having to list it. They appear to be good sellers at the time.

If I were to put my crocket rifle up for sale I wouldn't list it for less than $425.00 plus shipping. You can always go down on the price. It will sell.

Some of you wanted to see it, so here it is. If I do sell it, I will list it in the classifieds as per the rules and I will say so here. I tried to get a pic of the bore but my light failed me, so that will have to wait for now.

Listing it would be the best way to sell it if you so desire. However, to my knowledge it is not against the rules to post pictures of it when asking what would be a good selling price. When doing so and someone contacted you via PM making an offer, I do not see where that would be against the rules.

Good luck to you whatever you decide to do.

Question for you.
How did you ship it? The last time I shipped a rifle out it was with fedex and it cost me some $70.00.

I just shipped a ML for $34.60 USPS. That was Priority and $300.00 insurance. It is in another state to the buyer in 3 days.

The three largest factors I am finding when shipping is destination, weight and size of the package. On this last one I removed the barrel so it fit into a shorter box. I think the total length was around 30 inches or so.

FWIW, I refuse to deal with FedEx. They are a total disaster in this part of the country. Also, their tracking is the worse of the worse. Even their employees have laughed when mentioned tracking information.

Did you have to declare what it was or show them it was unloaded?

I have shipped a few rifles over the last couple of months via USPS. Rates vary by destination, but there is a surcharge for packages over 36" in length and another surcharge for packages over 10#

Do not have to declare it. All you have to do is declare if something is perishable, explosive or dangerous. Never even ask me nor did I tell them it was a ML. And with the barrel being removed from the stock it's not going to be loaded, at least to where it could go off. I have shipped two in the last 3 weeks. Actually, part of my reason for breaking the ML down and put in a shorter box was not only due to cheaper shipping, but I don't want to ship a ML in a box that is obviously a long rifle due to the possibility of someone stealing it at one of the facilities.

Yeppers. Thus my reasoning for breaking it down to where they fit into a shorter boxes.

I would love that rifle, but I'm already waiting on one I just bought on here, & the dentist, taxes, & building material is going to take my money the next two months. Somebody is definitely going to jump on it before I can. 🥺
