I see that the Possible Shop advertises a Traditions Kentucky FLINT pistol kit in .45 and .50 caliber.

Anybody have any experience with this weapon?

The Traditions website does not even list this gun in flint only percussion.

I just bought a new one from a dealer in Oregon. The guy I talked to At Traditions said that that pistol has not been available for several years in flintlock. Must be old stock at the dealers. I haven't been able to shoot mine yet, but the lock sparks really well. The overall build quality is as good as any Pedersoli firearm.

I am also interested in this pistol. I just got the percussion version and like it. I would like to have them both.

Ghettogun, in another thread, advises against the Traditions Kentucky flintlock. Anyone else have any experience with it? Or any other recommendations for a shootable flintlock pistol along these general lines?

Never owned one in flint but I've found production flint locks are a manure shoot. You may get one that works great or it may not work at all.
