I use Hoppes benchrest no 9 and a wire brush some times G96.So I hope there is no plastic fouling I've heard of that before and try to make sure I get it out.I haven't been able to find any patches I think they are burning up. I have been shooting 75 and 80gr.So I will start over at 50 and work up a little and see if that helps if not I will go back to sabots. But I think with all this good advise I will be able to get RB to work.
Thanks everyone

G96 will definitely remove plastic fouling if you soak it....

Are your patches pre-lubed store bought?....No one knows how old store bought patches are....And lube can "rot " the fabric over time...

For what it's worth, when I mentioned the 1:28 twist I was looking at the Traditions PA Pellet Ultralight.

Apparently it has a different barrel than the original PA Pellet.

If this gun has a 1:48 twist, my earlier comments probably don't count.

patches are pre lubed ox yoke and are fresh I have a black powder shop I've delt with for 30yrs he has a fast turn over on things like this because he's the only strictly BP shop in the area and has been doing this for 50yrs.
I could of ask him about this problem but I wanted multiple opinions and possibilities.
I will still see what he has to.
Thanks again everyone I'm sure I will find the answer in the charge and patch.

That is definitely one of your problems...IMO

Thicker patch and lube it yourself.

A rough and rusty bore will mutilate patches....

Find your fired patches....They should look as though you could use them again....any holes, tearing, mutilation, or burning will result in poor accuracy.
